KT-DH300 Plasma PPP Gel Maker Product Specification
DH300 is microprocessor controlled Dry Bath Incubator. Instead of traditional water bath device, the heat-conducting medium is high purity aluminum.
The exact desired temperature is easily set using the arrow keys on the sloped control panel while values are shown on the large digital display. No checking of a thermometer and readjusting temperature is necessary.
The user calibration feature allows for easy calibration to in house standards when required.
This product can be widely used in preservation and reaction of samples, DNA amplification, electrophoresis denaturation and serum solidification, etc.
What is PPP?
PRP is the abbreviation of “Platelet-Rich Plasma”, is a plasma containing high concentration of platelets that is made by one’s own blood.
In addition to PRP extraction, the part of serum that does not contain platelets is called PPP (Platelet -Poor Plasma).
In traditional PRP therapy, PPP is thought of useless by-product during PRP preparation. But in the recent 10 years, more usages of PPP are explored and widely used in medial beauty field.It is proved that even lower quality platelets (PPP) can be effective in the anti-aging genre. PPP can be used for superficial filling of wrinkles in place of periplasmic acid. It is also less red and swollen after surgery, but it is easily reabsorbed by the body.

How the KT-DH300 PPP Gel Maker Works?
PPP preparation Procedure
Step 1. Withdraw blood :
- Fill PRP tubes with patient’s blood;
- Turn the tube upside down for 3 minutes ,then place it in the straight position for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2. Blood Centrifugation:
- Placed in a KT-TD3WS PRP centrifuge for 10-15 minutes at speed 3000-3500rpm( room temperature: 20-25℃).
- Blood will fractionate, PPP( Platelet-Poor Plasma) will be on top of the tube.
Step 3. PPP Preparation:
- Draw the upper PPP (Platelet-Poor Plasma) with syringe.
- Place the syringe containing liquid PPP into the gel machine .
- Heat it at a constant temperature of 70°C for 5 minutes; then continue to heat to 90°C for 6-10 minutes.
(NOTE: during the 2nd heating period, heat for 6-8 minutes if inject to the superficial skin position; heat for 8-10 minutes if inject to the deep skin position.)
- Finally, put it in the cooling chamber (KT-DC10 with cooling function) for 5 minutes / natural cooling until it turn to gel. At this time,the gel temperature is about 35°C.
- Prepare PPP for filling.
