Q.What is PRP centrifuge?

PRP centrifuge is specifically designed to stratify blood for aesthetic usage. Normally it is low speed centrifuge ( ≤4000rpm) with various angle rotors to fix centrifuge tubes. RCF & time varies with different gender and different aesthetic purpose. Low volume PRP is needed if only for anti-wrinkle, facial skin rejuvenation, face line sculpturing,pigment remove etc; large volume PRP is needed if used for FAT transplant.

Q.How long do you spin blood for PRP?

The PRP separation is done in centrifuge. Different centrifuges with different specifications need to set different speed & time when prepare PRP. For our PRP centrifuge machine, the 1st centrifuge is at 3000 rpm for 6 minutes. Then we separate the erythrocytes from platelet poor plasma. The 2nd centrifuge is at 3000 rpm for 6 minutes too, then separate the PRP from platelet poor plasma.

Q. How many RPM is PRP?

PRP preparation need to set centrifuge speeds ranging from 2,200 RPM to 3,500 RPM. It can be used as a single or double spin system, depending on what PRP composition (type) your injection requires.Normally we recommend dual centrifuge method for PRP preparation, but only single centrifuge for PPP preparation.

The centrifuge should be installed on a flat, sturdy platform. Leave a large free space on the sides and back of the centrifuge for cooling and ventilation.

RCF is an expression of g-force, when calculating g-force,the speed is very important when calculate this RCF which is expressed in revolutions per minute (rpm).

The relationship between the speed r/min and the centrifugal force g is not proportional, but also related to the radius. At the same speed, the radius is doubled, and the centrifugal force g is doubled. The conversion formula for the relationship between rotation speed (r/min) and centrifugal force (g value) is as follows:

Speaking of PRP, we must first understand growth factors first. Blood is composed of red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets. Growth factors are produced by activated cells in the hematopoietic system, immune system or inflammatory response. PRP Preparation Procedure

At present, there is no uniform standard for the specific clinical application of PRP. There are many preparation methods, and some methods are very complicated and require professional equipment.

The most common and simple method is to use a low-speed centrifuge and anticoagulation test tube. According to our long term research & comparison of the different PRP centrifuge procedure, the dual centrifugation method is recommend for our KT-TD3WS PRP centrifuge.

Step 1: draw cubital venous blood and mix well.
(Note: Try not to produce excessive air bubbles during the blood draw, so as not to damage the blood cells.)
Step 2: 1st centrifugation
Centrifuge at 3000rpm for 6 minutes.(Balance before procedure). The angle rotor is better than the horizontal rotor.
Step 3: Let stand for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4: Draw out 1/2 of the upper serum from top to bottom.
Step 5: The rest part to proceed the 2nd centrifugation. Centrifuge at 3000 rpm for 6 minutes.(Balance before procedure).
Step 6: Shake well before extraction, shake off the platelets on the separation gel and the tube wall before extracting PRP.

PRP injection therapy normally is consists of 3 treatments that lasts for 1-1.5 months. Then need a 1-1.5 months of maintenance treatments period. Microneedle Mesotherapy

Operation Steps:

Prepare inactive liquid PRP and 5% CaCl₂ 0.1ml+2% lidocaine, and let it stand for 4-5 minutes;
Clean the face at the same time, apply ice on the surface of the treatment area for 10 minutes.
Disinfect the face, spread a sterile sheet, and wipe the treated area with saline.
Draw PRP into the syringe and perform microneedle operation while dripping liquid. If you use a mesotherapy gun, you can directly inject the liquid, depending on the treatment site to control the operation density and operation time.Usually, stop the treatment when the skin become red. The acne skin should be slightly oozing blood. Generally, the whole process can be completed in 10-20 minutes operate.

PRP Treatment Before & After

PRP Treatment Aftercare
